Steve Prior of Central Trains got the shock of his life during a club match on Island Pool with Central Trains when he banked a massive 5lb 4oz perch! The specimen remains the largest ever perch caught during a match to this day and was one of eight fish Steve caught on the day over 3lb!

Ian Giddins visits Woodside to demonstrate a new method he has devised for cold water commercials when bites a difficult to come by after a particularly difficult spell on the Midlands open match circuit. By finely chopping maggots into a sloppy mulch, Ian has discovered a real competitive edge, which Pole Fishing Magazine expressed an interest in.
