Thirteen anglers from Heta AC attended this Sunday club match on Woodside pool.
Finishing top of the field on the day was Stuart Campbell, who drew peg 3 close to the point of the island. Started his match fishing pellet short at just 3m, Stuart found carp in numbers before switching to his margins late on with paste to find some proper lumps. At the end of the five hours, Stuart offered 150-08-00 to the scales for a comfortable victory.
Mike Groves secured runner-up spot from peg 11. Fishing corn in the margins, Mike found quality carp to weigh in 99-06-00.
Third place on the day was Barry Chesolm, who drew neighbouring peg 10. Opting to fish the pellet waggler for the duration of the match, Barry found good-sized fish to offer 70-04-00 to the scales.
