Ten (10) anglers from Pensnett & Brockmoor lined the banks of Island pool for this latest Sunday contest. Conditions on the day were very hot with the resident carp still being pre-occupied with spawning. Weights, as a result, were low.
Winner on the day was C. Waksman. Opting to fish corn on the feeder, he found odd carp to weigh in a match-winning 33-15-00.
Second place was taken by Bob Davis with 28-02-00 of small stockies, call caught on worm.
Dave Wassell finished close behind in third place offering 28-00-00 to the scales fishing caster short at 8m.
