Ten (10) anglers from Trek AC attended this Saturday club match on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were a continuation of the pleasant warm, settled spell we have all being enjoying. However, that said, fishing on the day was more difficult than expected with weights being a little below the norm for the time of year.
Winner on the day was Chris Hall, who drew peg 1. Not normally an area known for producing match-winning weights, Chris opted to fish bread down his edge to find carp in sufficient numbers to weigh in 53-12-00 come the end of the five hours.
Finishing close behind in second place was Mick Carlow from corner peg 7 with 47-08-00.
Roger Toombs secured a third place finish with a level 47lbs opting to fish corn and bread down his edge.
