Thirteen (13) anglers from Brandhall Conservatives attended this Sunday club match on Woodside pool.
Winner on the day was Paul Newey, who drew peg 1. Fishing red maggot over fishery feed pellet at just two metres, Paul found carp in numbers to end the day with a winning 61-09-00 to finish comfortably ahead of the rest of the field.
Taking runner-up spot was Nigel Derby from peg 9. Opting to fish 8mm pellet up in the water on the waggler at approximately fifty (50) yards, Nigel found some quality fish, but unfortunately for him, not consistently enough to weigh in 32-08-00.
Finally, finishing in third place on the day was Craig Derby. Craig opted to fish the feeder with pellet and corn from peg 3 to offer 19-07-00 to the scales.
