Ten (10) anglers from Halesowen Cricket Club attended this Saturday contest held on Woodside pool.
Winner on the day was Tony Bishop, who drew peg 2. Tony struggled for the opening half of the match but a switch to corn down his edge over fishery micro pellets turned his match around. Upon the scales making their way around the lake, Tony offered 54-15-00 of prestine edge fish to win by a narrow margin.
Finishing close behind in second place was Martin Dunn from neighbouring peg 3. Again, fishing corn over fishery micros Martin was able to find 48-15-00 of carp.
Third place on the day was Johnny Berry from peg 10. Fishing paste down his edge, John recorded a final weight of 34-15-00.
