A slightly lower than normal turnout saw seven (7) anglers attend their fourth and final match of the year here at Woodside. Conditions on the day got off to a cold but bright start with a heavy dew first thing. However, the main issue for anglers was the strong wind once again, which kept temperatures on the day a lot lower than in the days leading up to the match.
Winner on the day was Graham Poulton, who drew peg 12. With the wind hacking into his peg for the duration of the match, Graham found plenty of good-sized paste fish shoaled up down his right hand edge to give him a final weight of 119-13-00 and a much deserved match win.
Bob Bennett finished in second place from neighbouring peg 10. Offering pellet down his edge, Bob found mostly carp to weigh in 80-12-00.
Completing the top three on the day was the ever consistent Kim Hunter. Kim fished paste and corn down his edge on peg 8 to weigh in 51-04-00.
