Seventeen (17) anglers from TREC AC attended this Saturday club match held over both Woodside and Island pools.
WOODSIDE POOL
Winner on the day was Rob Sandall, who drew peg 15 on the dam wall. Most of Rob's winning catch came from down his edge with Rob swapping between dead maggot and corn hookbaits to end the match with 58-14-00 of mainly small-ish carp.
Second place on the day went to Mick Carlow, who drew peg 1. Mick started his match fishing pellet on the short pole before having a look down his edges with dead reds. Unfortunately for Mick, the fish never really showed in the edges like he was hoping for, but he still did enough to finish ahead of third placed Roger Tomes with a final weigh of 46-10-00.
Roger weighed in 42-02-00 from corner peg 6 offering dead maggot down his edge and up in the water to take the last of the mainframe positions on the day.

ISLAND POOL
Winner on the Island pool was Clive Myrie from unfancied peg 4 on the dam wall. Concentrating on the method feeder for the majority of the match, Clive was able to find carp in numbers, as well as some quality skimmers to weigh in 76-09-00.
Second place was taken by Jason Bird on neighbouring peg 3. Jason targeted cruising fish for most of the match offering pellet up in the water to end with 62-00-00 of carp and F1s.
Third place on the day was awarded to Dave Horton on peg 11. Dave caught most of his 54-15-00 on paste fished down his edge.
