White Hall 1212 AC, Woodside & Island Pools

Thirteen (13) anglers from White Hall 1212 attended this Sunday club contest held over both Woodside & Island pools.

WOODSIDE

Winner on the day on Woodside pool was Dan Syddall, who drew peg 12. Opting to fish a method feeder both short and then later down his edge with corn on the hook, Dan found a good average stamp of fish to weigh in 59-05-00 and sqeak a narrow victory.

Second place was taken by Martin Sharp from peg 3 on the point of the island. Fishing maggot down his edge, Martin also found a good average stamp of fish for a final weigh of 53-15-00.

Third place on Woodside pool was awarded to Dave Mason, who drew peg 16 on the dam wall. Fishing a method feeder with 8mm pellet on the hook, Dave was taking no prisoners, but, unfortunately for Dave, the carp never really settled in any sort of numbers giving him a final weigh of 38-01-00.
